COMMUNITY BASED ENGAGEMENT CAMP
Camp Day - 1
Date : 03.12.2018
The first day of the camp was fully handled by our green house Student Teachers.
Inaugural Function
Chief Guest : Dr.S.Bevinson Perinbaraj,
Principal of Dr.Sivanthi Aditanar college of Physical Education,
Tiruchendur.
Usage :
The first day of the camp was inaugrated with a grateful speech given by our Chief Guest. He explained about the importance of camp and motivated us to give our full involvement in those five days of the camp. This session was very enthusiastic.
Camp Day - 2
Date : 04.12.2018
This day was fully handled by our blue house members. The day started with the flag hoist. In the forenoon session we all visited the nearby Gandhipuram Village. There we were given duties house-wise and we cleaned the village , taught to the village students, made awareness on dengue etc...
Basic Remedies of First Aid

Usage :
During the afternoon session , Our honorable Chief Guest presented a power point on first aid. He explained us about the major first aid therapies and how to handle them easily at any situation. This session was very much helpful for all of us.

Usage :
Our Chief Guest delivered a great speech on Unity in diversity. She taught us about the basic rights and principles that are being followed in India.
Recent Trends in Music and Dance

Usage :
Our music and dance instructor sung various songs for us and she told us about the recent trends in music and dance in our day-to-day life. This session was very interesting and exciting.

Camp day - 3
Date : 05.12.2018
This day was fully handled by our red house members. The day started with flag hoisting.
Debate

Usage :
The forenoon session was handled by Dr.T.Uma. In this session,some of the members of our college participated and discussed about the protection and destruction of natural resources. The session was more enjoyable.
Green Revolution
In the next session,all of the camp members were asked to make our surrounding clean by watering the plants, picking up the plastics in and around the campus. This session was much beneficial for all of us.
Fire and Safety Measures
Chief Guest : Mrs.Nattar Anandhi,

Usage :
The afternoon session was handled by Mrs.Nattar Anandhi . She explained about the causes for fire incidents and the ways to handle such situations. This was very much helpful for all of us.
AIDS Program
Chief Guest : Dr.C.Vetrivel MBBS.,
Saraswathi Nursing Home,
Tiruchendur.
Usage :
Dr.C.Vetrivel, who acted as the guest of the session presented an awareness about AIDS. He added the ways of transmission of HIV and prevention from it. The session was very much valuable.

Camp Day - 4
Date : 06.12.2018
This day was fully handled by our rose house members. The day started with flag hoisting. All the camp members were divided into two groups and they were allowed to visit DCW. There we came to know something about RO process and the preparation of salt.The session was interesting.
Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW)

Usage :
Chief Guest of this session taught us about the techniques in drawing and painting and some craft work with thread. He also made a power point presentation and explained us about the various designs that can be used in an album. This session was very interesting for all of us.

Camp Day - 5
Date : 07.12.2018
This day was fully handled by our violet house members. The day started with flag hoisting.
All Faith Prayer
Camp members of different religion were asked to read verses from their holy book and we sung devotional songs of all religion. This session gave us a peaceful mind.
Scout and Guide
Chief Guest : Mr.K.Avudaiyappan,
Red Scout and Guide Instructor,
Usage :
One of the most delighted session was given by Mr.K.Avudaiyappan. He took all our minds by singing interesting songs and taught us about camp firing and the camp song to be sung during camp firing.This session was very enjoyable with so much fun.
Valedictory Function

Usage :
Valedictory function is essential for proper ending and success of an event. Our Guest of honour gave a valuable speech about the past five days of camp and he lit the camp fire. Thus the camp ended with culturals in the light of the fire.
Christmas Day Celebration

Usage :
December is the last month and on this month Christmas is celebrated. On this day, Our beloved chief guest gave a valuable speech about the purpose of Christmas celebration.Santa claus gave exciting gifts to all of us. We all enjoyed a lot.
